I appreciate the comment.

Sanctimonious might come from the semi-authoritative tone. If I was evidently questioning myself in my writing too often, it would come off wishy-washy, lose emotional emphasis and seem insecure or neurotic, so it’s better to make bold statements and then being ok with potentially being wrong.

Unfortunately that shook off some of the subjectivity of my listed items, but hopefully adding that it was based on my personal experience gave it that subjective element.

I’m definitely not a goody two-shoes as I am guilty of many things on my own list. I hope to show openness in my addressing of the comments here as well.

You have a great perspective on tolerance for ideas you disagree with and applauding anyway because it is about challenge and sharing ideas.
