I have seen a few cases where people naively have open hearts and are brutally taken advantage of. I believe some people are truly destructive forces no matter how understandable their story or open the hearts of others are, as these people stay stuck in their patterns which are solely up to them to break. People can influence, people can show that there is kindness and love in the world, but some victims remain totally blind to it. Perhaps because recognising it would cause them significant pain. Maybe they don’t want to take responsibility. My point is, there isn’t always a happy ending. Not every story resolves. Not everyone chooses love depite its presence, so one must be guarded when appropriate. And like I mentioned in the article, it’s appropriate to give people a chance, but there is definitely a time for boundaries.
