I just turned 30, as a man, and it's something that's not necessarily pleasant. Beyond cultural interpretation, biologically fertility for women is more time-limited than men. One thing that's often missed though is good genetics. An older woman can be more attractive than a younger one because of this. It takes the heat off of age a little bit. If you're too focused on the attractiveness life cycle in your own life, you can forget that in contrast to others, you can actually still be in the top 20% for a while. But once beauty fades, we need to value ourselves with less superficial and transient things such as beauty. Those who can't do that might invest in surgeries and risk disfiguring themselves.
