It's not a double standard because if a man expects a relatively clean history he would be a hypocrite to have a questionable one himself.

It's also not insecurity. If you have low standards, it means you have a low sense of self-worth. Lowering standards is insecure, not raising them.

Entitlement isn't in having standards, it's in making no effort and expecting the cream of the crop anyway.

Women and men ought not to be there for their own lives but each should value what the other values and work cooperatively. However, feminism (regarding all your buzzwords) finds many male values threatening and deems them evil.

Men aren't allowed to want anything in the current cultural atmosphere because apparently anything that excludes a woman is 'insecure' and 'judgemental', 'shaming' or 'phobic'.

Nobody should expect perfect, but women should care what men want and vice versa.
