Thanks for the comment.

For me it is what it is. I felt this, explored it, then self-published it without expecting anything. Note in my intro that I mention it is personal, but I think the Medium audience welcomes that.

I don’t think this article totally fits in with what I meant by infotainment. What I meant was more like endless commentary about political issues or topics. In a broader sense, most articles on Medium would fall under this category. It has its place, just not in deluding yourself that consuming infotainment is the same as taking action or planning projects. It can still have value.

I’m not against the humanities at all either, only the expectation of being entitled to work or success no matter what you study. I say beware, not avoid. This is only promoting the idea that people should consider outcomes and their intentions. Life would be dull without the humanities.

As subjective as it is, I think others have found value in contemplating what I had to say whether they agree or not. Some were perhaps able to find something to consider, or a general truth. Maybe others were able to fortify their position in why they disagreed.

I just say how I feel and let the chips fall where they may. I’ve also addressed as many concerns as I can in the comments.

Thanks again.
