The heart wants what it wants. However, it’s not as romantic to say that you can’t trust your feelings — and you can’t. Especially when the blood is flowing elsewhere.

It’s a good point you bring up and I feel sorry for anyone who has children caught up in a situation like this. How often do people think about whether they will raise kids with the same perspective when they are first looking for a relationship?

It’s hard to put the mind first in matters of the heart, but we pay a significant price for the pleasure we might once have in the beginning. Vet everyone first for value compatibility!
